Ida Radvanyi
Photography and paper conservator.
Hi! I am Ida Radványi,
I completed my master's degree studies at the Department of Restoration of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, where I specialized in the restoration of works made on paper and photography. As part of my doctoral studies, I am currently working on 20th century color analogue photography processes at AFAD, also at the Department of Restoration. I actively participate in international conferences and workshops on issues related to the restoration and preservation of photographs.
As part of private projects for art collectors, I provide services to protect works of art, prevent their aging and create the right space for them, with an individual approach.
I also actively use historical photographic techniques such as cyanotype or the albumin process.
Painting has been a big hobby since I was a child, I have learned various historical techniques and constructions of painting, which I also enjoy using in my work. In addition to classical painting, I also gladly prefer the abstract painting of thereality and feelings.
